Important Dates, Events, and Opportunities

Health Professions Club Meetings:

There is a great new club at CSU!
CHAMP, Colorado Homeless Assistance with Medicine Program
, was first created in Boulder and now has expanded to Fort Collins! This club focuses on working with local shelters and free clinics to help determine the most pressing needs of Fort Collin’s homeless population. Their goals are to assist people in applying for Medicaid/Medicare, find a primary care provider that accepts their insurance and schedule appointments. They also aim to educate the homeless on free clinics, food banks, crisis centers, and other general health concerns. This club will include fundraising, learning about different populations with Fort Collins, getting to understand Medicare/Medicaid and the healthcare system, becoming aware of health concerns that face the homeless as well as ways to help educate them, and meeting a bunch of great new people!
Please visit their website for more information.
