Disability Dialogue Podcast
The Student Disability Center is excited to share with you all that we have recently launched a podcast. Disability Dialogues (the podcast) is an extension of our dialogue program of the same name. Each episode explores different topics related to disability, diversity, accessibility, and social justice. You can find the first episodes on this website.


New CSU Classes & Clubs 

HES450 Introduction to Human Clinical Medicine
No prerequisites and open to all majors but intended for juniors/seniors. T/R 2-3:15pm
Introductory concepts of clinical medicine including how to take and write a medical history and form a differential diagnosis. Using a case-based approach, common and uncommon diseases and scenarios and the associated medical physiology will be explored. Some basic student-healthcare professional skills are introduced including interpretation of diagnostic tests. Designed for students interested in pursuing a career in medicine. CSU SEED (Students Empowering & Engaging in Dialogue) is hiring Peer Educators/Workshop Facilitators for next year
SEED provides free, peer-led workshops for the campus community. These workshops are opportunities for groups of CSU students to engage across differences and to increase their awareness, understanding, and skills on topics of diversity, identity, bias, and social justice. They are interactive (activity and dialogue based) and led by trained undergraduate student facilitators. SEED offers a variety of workshop topics and is open to creating a unique session based on interest and need. Learn more about the job here, and click here to apply.

CSU Orientation & Transition Programs is Accepting Applications for Ram Welcome Leaders
Approximately 300 students will be accepted into these volunteer positions Fall 2021. Ram Welcome Leaders serve as the primary student leadership team behind the implementation of the Ram Welcome program by guiding and connecting new students. They work collaboratively as part of a larger Orientation Team (which includes both Orientation Leaders and Ram Welcome Leaders)  and with Residence Life Staff (Resident Assistants, Inclusive Community Assistants and other student leaders) to ensure that students are attending Ram Welcome events. They lead a small group of students through the Ram Welcome experience by setting a positive tone, creating excitement and energy for Ram Welcome events as well as facilitating formal small group meetings and informal discussions with students regarding the transition to CSU. They attend extensive leadership development training, and demonstrate to new students what it means to be a CSU Ram.
