Surround yourself with the dreamers and the doers, the believers and thinkers, but most of all, surround yourself with those who see the greatness within you, even when you don't see it yourself.

IU172 Exploring Health Professions
Health Professions Advising is offering a new course Spring 2021 designed for first-year students in any major including first-year transfer students.
Course Description: The healthcare field is growing. Compassionate, culturally competent, ethically responsible professionals who can work together for the greater good are needed to fill current gaps in healthcare. There are many careers in healthcare that focus on serving patients in different capacities. This course will explore a wide range of these health professions as well as examine topics such as inequities that are present in our healthcare system today. Students will critically analyze and reflect on their values, skills, interests, identities and strengths and how they will impact their career in healthcare. Students will also reflect on their “why” for wanting to be healthcare professionals to better guide their path, clinical experiences, and unique application components for professional programs.
Email Health Professions Advising to request an override into the class
