Poudre Valley Hospital and Medical Center of the Rockies, in collaboration with CSU, provide undergraduate students the opportunity to volunteer in departments such as the emergency department, urgent care, surgical units, and diagnostic labs.

Students are required to:

1. Meet with a CSU Health Professions Advisor.
2. Sign up for the HP Bulletin to receive a pre-application.
3. Submit the pre-application to the Health Professions Advising Office.
4. Submit the full application with references to UCHealth.
5. Attend an informational overview session at the hospital.
6. Commit to a minimum volunteer term (typically 6 months or ~2 academic terms, 2–3 hours per week).
