About HP Advising
Health professions students have two advisors:
- CSU Academic Advisor (Primary Advisor): Helps students complete their bachelor’s degree.
- Health Professions Advisor (Secondary Advisor): Helps in preparing competitive applications for health professions programs.
CSU offers health professions advising to students from all majors pursuing careers in human or animal healthcare. We recommend meeting with an advisor each semester.
Services are also available to alumni.

- Planning prerequisites
- Extracurricular activities
- Admissions exam prep
- Application review & feedback
- Personal statement and interview prep
