Save the Date

The AAMC MCAT 2020 pre-registration opens on October 8th! The January-June MCAT dates and registration for those will open on October 16th. Pre-registration is not required but highly encouraged so students can save time when they go in to register for the MCAT on October 16th.

Premedica Meeting: For students interested in Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), Physican Assistant (PA), or Nursing (RN)
Wednesday October 9th | 6-7:30pm | Stadium 1205 | Juliana Taylor (PA) will come and talk about her profession

Rehabilitation Therapy Meeting: For students interested in Physical Therapy (DPT) or Occupational Therapy (OTD or MSOT/MOT)
Tuesday October 8th | Field trip to My Heroes Hippo therapy | Meet outside of the west side of the stadium at 5:45pm to carpool. 

Pre-Vet Meeting: For students interested in Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
Wednesday October 16th | 5:30-6:30pm | Clark A203

Pre-Dental: For students interested in Dentistry (DMD or DDS)

*If there is a health area that you are interested in that does not have a club reflected for it, please reach out to a Health Professions Advisor so we can suggest what club might be most applicable, another club on campus, or give you information on how to start a club if you are interested. 


Relevant CSU Events and Opportunities:

Join Campus Connections
Campus Connections is a multidisciplinary service-learning course (HDFS 470A) that involves mentoring at-risk youth referred through the juvenile justice system, schools, and community agencies. CSU students enrolled in Campus Connections are paired with a youth ages 10-18 years and provide one-on-one mentoring for 12 weeks. Check out the Campus Connections website here for more information. The deadline to apply is October 21st at 5:00pm.
