Interview Workshop
The Health Professions Office, in conjunction with Career Services, will offer two Interview Workshops this fall. The workshops will cover preparation for the interview, types of interviews, and interview questions. They are designed to assist students in any health professions area: premed, pre-vet, pre dentistry, PT, OT, etc. You do not need to register/signup.

Health Panel with Professionals in the Field:
This event is being put on in collaboration by the Rehabilitation Therapy, Pre-Vet, Premedica, Pre-Dental, Pre-SOMA, and Pre-Pharmacy clubs. Professionals will be represented from all these areas.

SLiCE Adaptive Swim Program
CSU student volunteers are paired with members of the community with disabilities with a focus on relationship and community building through having fun in the pool! Volunteers can participate on Thursday evenings from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm or Sunday afternoons from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Volunteers commit to participating from October 2019 – April 2020 (with breaks for CSU breaks). If you are interested in learning more or applying to volunteer click here!

TGIF Program
CSU student volunteers are paired with teens & young adults with disabilities with a focus on community and relationship building through hosting social events on Friday evenings. TGIF events occur once or twice a month on Friday afternoons & evenings typically from 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm. Past events include bowling, holiday parties, ice skating, CSU athletic events, and ends the year with Prom! If you are interested in learning more or applying to volunteer click here!

Kaplan is offering a free Prep Pass—teacher-led classes, quizzes, and practice exams. Students will have 30 days to work with teachers who know the GRE in classes on key test topics.

Research Assistant Experience for Students
The Health, Emotion, and Aging Research Team (HEART) Lab is currently looking for Research Assistants (RAs)! RAs would be able to gain hands-on experience conducting psychological experiments, cleaning physiological data (e.g., heart-rate variability), and helping to recruit participants, among other things. The Equine Orthopaedic Research Center Volunteer Opportunity
The EORC is an amazing orthopedic research facility, and is an excellent opportunity to gain hands on experience in the fields of equine veterinary medicine, orthopedic research, and sports medicine.
