COPE Health Scholars: COPE Health Scholars has partnered with UCLA Fielding School of Public Health's Executive Programs in Health Policy & Management and The Princeton Review to provide the most comprehensive programs for students preparing for a career in health care. Health Scholars gain clinical experience, make a difference in the lives of patients and become an integral part of the patient care team. This unique program allows students to assist with basic care for patients alongside nurses, doctors and other clinicians, preparing them for a career in health care. Health Scholars rotate through many clinical departments, which vary by site. As students' skills advance, they may rotate by tier into specialty areas. Students complete 280 hours to graduate from the program. More information on the COPE Health Scholars website.

Loyola University Chicago Master of Science in Medical Physiology Program: Loyola University Chicago offers a nine month Master of Science in Medical Physiology (MSMP) Program for motivated students interested in enhancing their understanding of medical physiology, demonstrating their ability to perform graduate level coursework, and improving their academic credentials for medical school applications. MSMP students pursue intensive, graduate studies on the Loyola medical school campus and interact daily with current medical students. MSMP students are also guaranteed an interview at Loyola's Stritch School of Medicine for students who meet the academic requirements. The program matriculates 30 students and prepares students for medical school. The application deadline is July 20. More information here.
