If you're interested in ATSU's Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program, we highly recommend attending an upcoming virtual information session. To select a day, please click here.

The sessions will include the application process and an overview of the curriculum. Each event is identical, therefore, you only need to attend one.

Registration for all events are free, however, it is required by selecting a date here.  Once you've registered, a Zoom link to join the session will be e-mailed a few days before the event.

Anschutz Medical Campus Pre-doc Mentoring Program


Are you interested in applying to MD, PhD, or MD PhD programs? Do you hope to acquire mentorship so that you can learn more about these programs and gain the skills to be a successful applicant?  


Apply to the AMC Pre-doc Mentoring Program! Through the Pre-doc Mentoring Program, you become paired with an MD, PhD, or MD PhD student from the Anschutz Medical Campus. In monthly meetings with your mentor, you will learn more about their life as a student and learn how to be a successful applicant. Finally, you will attend virtual workshops for professional development.  

 Program Dates: October 2022 to May 2023

Rehabilitation Therapy Club (OT and PT)

The Rehabilitation Therapy Club creates opportunities and support for Pre-Health
students interested in career paths such as Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy.
Membership is open to all CSU students and anyone is welcome to join club meetings! We provide shadowing opportunities, volunteer opportunities, and information on
application/interview processes for rehabilitation graduate programs. We also have visits from graduate school admissions representatives like CU Anschutz, CSU, Regis, and more, and current industry professionals. Vet Teaching Hospital - Vet Teaching Lab

Opportunity for work and volunteering with a vet education lab at the TMI at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital in the Continuing Education Department. We are looking to hire undergraduate or graduate students who are in their second year or above; as well as looking for anyone interested in volunteering in all levels of school.


General duties include lab set up and tear down including, cadaver prep work, observation of lab and assisting participants when needed, laundry and other miscellaneous general tasks.  Please email Payne Pachuda you would like to apply or if you have any additional questions.

Dr. Sherket B. Peterson Scholarship for Underrepresented Minority Students Pursuing Healthcare Careers
Scholarship provides financial aid in the form of a $3000 scholarship and mentorship to further the education of underrepresented minority (URM) students interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. The scholarship honors program alumni who are interested in pursuing a career in a field that will enhance health research or innovation and have the potential to impact the world. One student will receive a $3000 award and one-year of mentorship. A portion of the award, $2500, will be distributed to the awardee’s US college or university on their behalf for tuition expenses and $500 will be distributed directly to the awardee for other educational expenses such as books and/or laptops, grad school applications, etc.
Application Opens: August 15th

-Enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university and have completed at least 2 years of undergraduate studies (rising juniors and above)
-Maintain good academic standing
-URM pursuing a career in healthcare
-Alumnus of the program (SHPEP, SMDEP, SMEP, or MMEP)
-Demonstrate a drive to succeed in their pursuit of a health career, leadership, a passion to create change in their community
-Demonstrate a commitment to advancing new ideas, concepts, approaches, policies, programs, technologies, potential treatments, or products, that improve healthcare and health disparities.

Eagle Feather Tutoring

The Native American Cultural Center's Eagle Feather Tutoring will be offering free, in person tutoring this fall. 




TILT will be holding drop-in tutoring in the Great Hall, on the second floor of the TILT Building on Sundays-Thursdays from 5-9pm. Supported courses can be found on their website.
