 New Assistant Director of HP Advising: 

Hello Everyone,

My name is Terry Schlicting and I am the new Assistant Director of HP advising. Some of you may already know me, I have been serving as an HP Advisor for the past two years. I did my undergrad and graduate work here at CSU, so I am a proud RAM! I have big shoes to fill, Lilly Dethier has transitioned out of the Assistant Director roll, however we are excited to announce that she will continue to meet with students on a part-time basis. I look forward to working with you all and please reach out if I can be of any assistance whatsoever.

Core Competencies for Entering Medical Student

The Veterinary Medical College Application Service (VMCAS) opened on January 20: Click here for link.

The Texas Medical Dental and Veterinary common application opens in early May. Most of the US schools use AMCAS (MD), AACOMAS (DO) and VMCAS (DVM) common applications but if you plan to apply to medical, dental or veterinary schools in Texas, you will need to complete TMDSAS: Click here for link.

Horseshoe Farms Community Health Fellowship Gap Year Opportunity in Alabama and Georgia: Application deadline February 13th, 2022. Project Horseshoe Farm is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with sites in Greensboro and Marion, Alabama and Pomona, California. CSU Events & Opportunities

CSU Passport Scholarship:
Many individuals have donated to support passport scholarships for CSU students. We are looking for students who are first-time adult applicants with financial need. We hope to break down barriers to international experiences for students. Students do not have to study abroad to be eligible. Passports are valid for 10 years.
