Morgan Winters is looking for about 10 students to help with necropsy (limb collection) for this semester. The days vary but they usually take place Thursday, Friday or Saturday.  Whoever wishes to volunteer must be able to come to orientation and training this Saturday, the 29th, at 2 PM. If you are interested, you can email Morgan at morgan27@ram.colostate.edu

Animal Socialization Class: VS495
VS495 is an independent study course in which participants socialize animals used in research at CSU. Initially this course was dedicated to dogs to enhance their adoptability after the conclusion of the research project (when possible). Since we get such an overwhelming response to participate each semester it has since expanded to include cats, rabbits and other species. Each student is expected to work on socialization at least 1.5 hours per week per credit hour (NO MORE THAN 1 CREDITS) and attend the monthly meetings. Since it is an independent study, the scheduling is at your discretion. Students are expected to participate in the orientation to the facility and an orientation on training methods. Students will maintain a written log documenting the dates and time spent socializing the animals.
If interested, contact: Lon.kendall@colostate.edu.
An orientation meeting on Tuesday January 25th at 5 pm. Place TBD
