Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP)
This is a FREE six-week summer experience for students interested in the health professions. SHPEP scholars have a legacy of success: over 65% of scholars who apply to medical or dental school are accepted. Lean more here.

Interview Workshop 
Health Professions Advising and the Career Center are once again teaming up to provide health professions students (human and veterinary) with a second fall Interview Workshop. We will share a short presentation about best practices for interviewing, how to prepare for interviews, and special considerations regarding virtual interviews. The second workshop will take place virtually on Zoom (see invitation below).

The ISPE is a networking opportunity for those interested in the biotech industry. Despite the name, they do not need to be engineers to join. The organization offers a wide range of networking opportunities with professionals involved in the industry. The next meeting will be on November 9th at 6 PM. Relevant Research Experiences

A Mentoring Opportunity in Science and Research
Selected Young Scholars will have the opportunity (safety permitting) to attend ACC’s Annual Scientific Session in Washington, DC in April 2022 and local ACC State Chapter meetings, and will meet regularly with their mentors for a year-long research project. Learn more here.
