Starting Finals Week, we'll only send the newsletter every other week until Fall Semester starts. Our Health Professions Advisors are available all summer so feel free to email one of us or schedule a virtual appointment if you need anything.

AMCAS opens for you to start working on your application TODAY Monday May 3rd. The first day to submit is Thursday May 27th, and the first day your verified application can be forwarded to schools is Friday June 25th. 

AACOMAS opens for submission TOMORROW Tuesday May 4th.

Columbia 1-Year MS in Human Nutrition Panel Discussion with IHN Hispanic/Latinx Alumni
The Institute of Human Nutrition is committed to creating a diverse community of learners where belonging and inclusion is central to the academic mission. Enhance your future practice with a degree in Human Nutrition. The one-year Columbia M.S. in Human Nutrition involves an intense year of study; thesis research with options in basic nutrition science, clinical nutrition, and public health nutrition; and preparation for medical school, as well as a broad range of new and important healthcare careers. The webinar is open to students of all backgrounds, but the panel discussion will focus on the experiences of our Hispanic/Latinx alumni. University of Denver Professional Science Masters in Biomedical Sciences Information Sessions
This program provides advanced science coursework as part of the core curriculum, and is also individualized to allow students to enhance areas of study that they may not have the opportunity to during their undergraduate career. The program also includes a capstone project working with a mentor in their subfield of interest. The virtual get-togethers listed below will allow you to learn more about the program and connect with a current PSM student or alumni. GoodRX Scholarship for Future Black Physicians
In addition to representing a stark minority while also navigating systemic racism in health education, Black medical students also tend to enter medical school with higher rates of undergraduate debt. Through this scholarship, GoodRx is providing financial assistance to Black students studying to be physicians to encourage and support their professional goals.
