Western Virtual Healthcare Symposium - US Army
This symposium will feature a tremendous speaker who will be able to offer career advice and great perspective to anyone interested in the joining the Army Healthcare team. Major General Crosland is the Deputy Surgeon General and Physician who loves to connect with students. This event will be beneficial to the students interested in opportunities in Army medicine. Brown University Gateways Program Application open
The program offers a 1-year Master of Science in Medical Science degree for students pursuing careers in the health professions. Benefits include: a small class size that ensures individualized attention, a robust curriculum on par with the first year of an Ivy League medical school, longitudinal clinical experience and project work at a community healthcare site serving vulnerable patient populations, career mentoring and advising, and access to Brown University facilities and resources. Vitalant Blood Donation COVID Rescue Team Student Leader Scholarship Program
Vitalant recognizes the important role of the student volunteers who support the mission of campus blood drives around the country. Now, we are asking our student volunteers to help us locate convalescent plasma donors to support COVID-19 patients by becoming a COVID Rescue Team Student Leader. Through our virtual blood drive program, student leaders from high schools, colleges and trade schools will recruit friends, fellow students and family to donate blood. Each student leader who successfully recruits enough donors to result in a minimum of thirty (30) successful donation credits will be eligible to receive a one-time scholarship.
