“The most important day of a person’s education is the first day of school, not Graduation Day.” – Harry Wong

If you were enrolled in BMS301 for the fall semester, and have been switched to BMS310, this will likely not have an impact on your competitiveness for health professions programs. Admissions committees understand that many undergraduate institutions are offering online/hybrid courses and the vast majority of them have said they will accept online courses towards prerequisite requirements taken during this time. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, always check the websites of the health professions schools you're planning to apply to - many of them have COVID-specific pages.

Health Professions Advising VIRTUAL Interview Workshops
There will be two health professions interview workshops Fall 2020. The workshops are designed for any student applying to a human (MD/DO, Pharmacy, Dentistry, PT, OT, etc) or animal (Veterinary) program. The first hour will cover basic information: types of interviews, what to wear, how to prepare, tips for virtual interviews, etc. The second half will be a practice session. While everyone is welcome, the workshops are geared to students who are applying this year. We will conduct the workshops virtually over Zoom - the dates/times below have the appropriate Zoom links.

Thursday, September 3rd | 5:00 – 7:00 pm MST
Thursday, November 12th | 5:00 – 7:00 pm MST
