CHAMP Colorado Homeless Assistance with Medicine ProgramFor students interested in helping assist people applying for Medicaid/medicare, then find primary care providers that accept their insurance and schedule appointments.

Relevant On-Campus Events and Opportunities:

Community Education & Health Education Abroad in Zambia, Summer 2020
This faculty-led service-learning study abroad program allows students to engage with community members in Livingstone, Zambia, by providing support to understaffed clinics and offering home-based care to those who can't make it to the clinics. We also volunteer in classrooms to educate local students about health, including HIV education. Learn more here. Contact Ashley Davies and/or attend the info session if you're interested!

Northern Arizona University Master of Science in Training
This is the only professional athletic training program at a state institution in Arizona. It emphasizes professional clinical preparation, requires two years to complete, and is offered at both the Flagstaff and Phoenix campuses. Applicants from Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming are eligible for Western Regional Graduate Program (WRGP) tuition reduction funding. The application deadline is January 5th, and the program begins the first week of August. Learn more here.
